Hudson Inn Policies and House Rules
We strive to honor special requests upon your arrival. While we will do our best to meet such requests, availability cannot be guaranteed in advance.
Payment
- All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover).
- Debit cards are not accepted.
- Credit cards must be signed to be valid.Cash payment (USD) is accepted with a pre-authorized major credit card on file.
- Guests must present a valid credit card and government-issued photo ID at check-in.
Checks and Check Cashing
- Checks and check cashing services are not accepted.
Credit Card Holders
- Unsigned credit cards are not accepted.
- A pre-authorization will be placed on your credit card at check-in, holding funds until check-out.
- Hudson Inn is not responsible for bank policies regarding pending authorizations and release times.
Deposits and Guarantees
- No deposit is required for individual room reservations.
- A major credit card is required to guarantee bookings.
Third-Party Payments
- Generally, not permitted. For family member payments, prior pre-authorization is required.
Rates
- Rates are quoted in USD and subject to change without notice.
- Rates vary based on room type and occupancy.
Pet & Service Animal Policy
The Hudson Inn welcomes service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Guests with service animals are not required to pay any pet fees or sign a pet agreement. Service animals must be under control at all times and may be removed if they pose a direct threat or are not housebroken.

All pets must be registered with the office and owners must sign the Pet Agreement.

A non-refundable pet fee of $20 per night applies.

Dogs must be on a leash or carried in arms at all times outside of the guest room.

Dogs are not permitted in the pool or breakfast areas.

Owners must clean up after their pets or be subject to additional fees.

No pets may be left unattended in rooms.

Only domestic dogs are permitted, with a limit of one dog per room.

Any pet showing aggressive behavior must be removed from the property.
Right to Refuse Service
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for reasons not violating Federal or State laws.
- Guests may be evicted without a refund for violating hotel policies, including non-payment, disruptive behavior, illegal activities, or exceeding room occupancy limits.
Quiet Hours
- 10:00 PM - 9:00 AM.
- Noise levels must remain respectful.
- Report disruptions to the Front Desk immediately.
Visitors
- No visitors after 10:00 PM.
- Visitors must register at the Front Desk and be accompanied by the registered guest.
- Visitors may not use guest amenities.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before arrival to avoid a late cancellation fee.
Smoking Policy
- Hudson Inn is a 100% non-smoking facility, including vaping and marijuana.
- Designated smoking areas are available outside.
- A $250 fine applies for policy violations.
Prohibited Items and Activities
- Candles, incense, essential oils, and cooking appliances (except microwaves and refrigerators provided) are prohibited.
- A $300 fee applies for in-room cooking violations.
Housekeeping
- Provided between 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
- Request stayover service by 9:00 AM.
Lost & Found
- Items are held for 14 days.
- Return shipping is available via USPS with a $10 handling fee plus postage.
Alcohol Policy
- Alcohol is permitted only in guest rooms.
- Alcohol is prohibited in public areas and the pool area.
Firearms and Weapons
- Firearms must be stored safely and unloaded.
- No cleaning of firearms is allowed on-site.
- Law enforcement and on-duty military personnel are exempt from these restrictions.
Recreational Equipment
- Bicycles, hoverboards, rollerblades, hockey sticks, and pucks are not permitted in rooms.
Fire Safety
- Emergency exit maps are located on the back of room doors.
- Notify the Front Desk immediately in case of emergency.
No In-Room Parties
- Parties and loud disturbances are prohibited.
- Non-registered visitors must leave by 10:00 PM.
- Violations may result in eviction without a refund and a disturbance fee.
Wi-Fi Access
- Free for registered guests.
- Access codes may change without notice.
Policy Enforcement
- Policy violations may result in eviction without a refund and a minimum $250 cleaning fee.
Changes to Policies
- Policies are subject to change without prior notice.
- Updated policies are available on our website, in guest rooms, and at the Front Desk upon request.
